A Brief History: Born in 1937 in St. Louis
IN 1937, Atlas Plumbing Supply was founded by two brothers, Ben and Fred Suffian.
IN THE EARLY 1960’s, Fred’s sons Mike and Bob joined the company.
IN 1979, Atlas moved into our current Midtown location.
IN THE EARLY 1990’s, starting with Joel and followed by Brent and Leigh, third-generation partners joined the company.
IN 2011, we opened Immerse, an offsite design showroom in Brentwood.
Atlas Today
In 2024, our latest endeavor, a plumbing supply store in Hanley Industrial, opened to serve the St. Louis County market.
Our Commitment
Like us, many of our customers represent their company’s 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation. We feel so fortunate to have such a strong and loyal customer base, and we regard it with great respect. We also place our employees in a very special category. Many have been with us for decades.
